Meet Our Pastoral Team

The team

Say hello

Steve Worsley

Lead Pastor

steve.worsley@mabc.org.nz
021 049 3409

Steve heads MAB’s staff team and is involved in teaching, vision setting and leadership. As well as doing many of the sermons in our services, he’s occasionally roped in to play the piano. That’s because he was a professional concert pianist before he changed careers. Steve and his wife Jo came to MAB three years ago after leading Petone Baptist Church in Wellington. They made the big move north with their three daughters Madeleine, Amelia and Alice.

Rob Lovatt

International Pastor

robert.lovatt@mabc.org.nz

Rob oversees the multicultural aspects of MAB as we transition to being a fully inclusive international church that reflects Mt Albert community. People who have made their home in New Zealand have a special place in our church. Rob has recently returned from a significant worldwide leadership position with Wycliffe Bible Translators in the Asia Pacific region, and now divides his time between MAB and directing Wycliffe New Zealand. He is married to Leanne and has three adult children: Josh, Simon and Mark.

She is passionate about holistic well-being, including emotionally healthy spirituality. Judy is married to Nick and they have three adult sons Dan, Shaun and Bernard.
