Steve heads MAB’s staff team and is involved in teaching, vision setting and leadership. As well as doing many of the sermons in our services, he’s occasionally roped in to play the piano. That’s because he was a professional concert pianist before he changed careers. Steve and his wife Jo (our Children’s Ministry Pastor) came to MAB after leading Petone Baptist Church in Wellington. They made the big move north with their three daughters Madeleine, Amelia and Alice who attend local schools.

We’re pleased to welcome back Judy to the staff team in 2017, as she oversees our small group ministry (called Lifegroups), and the team that helps to welcome people who are new to MAB. Judy was in this same role for four years until 2011, when she decided to take a break and then worked as a Strengthening Families Coordinator in South Auckland. She is passionate about holistic well-being, including emotionally healthy spirituality. Judy is married to Nick and they have three adult sons Dan, Shaun and Bernard.
